ARB Saved Me!

A few years ago I began my truck build and one thing I purchased first was my ARB Bumper for the front of my 2017 Nissan Frontier. Some people said why not just a bull bar why add so much weight to the front of my truck and to them I responded I wanted the full protection of my truck the ARB provided and of course I got the protection from what just pay attention while driving. But even the best drivers can be surprised by the unknown while we traverse through this world during our lives. March 13, 2023 one of those unknowns happened to me. While traveling for work I was heading down a long back road in Texas making my way to Louisiana. It was a very dark night no moonlight and a semi put his high beams on me blinding me with the LED lights on the front of his rig. At the moment I thought he was just a jerk flashing his high beams so I flashed mine back to get him to go back to low beams but it was at that moment I realized he was trying to warn me of what lies ahead. Right in front of me was a huge white object in the road and at 70mph I tried to miss it but made contact directly on my driver side, the sound was that of an explosion, the truck jumped up in the air and within seconds it was over with and I was at a stop on the side of the road trying to figure out what just happened, was I ok? It took a moment for me to comprehend what just happened so I got out of my truck and started looking back in the street to see what I hit but there was just a large unrecognizable mangled object in the road. I started looking at my truck as people began to run up and ask me if I was alright which I said yes just startled. The guy asked how bad is your truck damaged , shining his light on the front of my truck we were surprised to see no damage to my trucks front end only scratches on the bumper. The crowd began to grow around my trucks front end as nobody could believe there was no damaged and began asking what bumper is this I need one, I finally asked what did I hit and the told me it was a large white deep freezer. I couldn't be happier for the out come, turns out my alignment is messed up and driver side shock, but that gives me an excuse to go forward with the titan swap I've been wanting to do. So now when someone asks me why the ARB bumper I'll answer "It's A Life Saver". Thank You @ARB
