Dispersed camping in Arkansas typically refers to camping in undeveloped areas of public lands, such as national forests or Bureau of Land Management lands, where there are no designated campsites or amenities like toilets or running water.

In Arkansas, dispersed camping is allowed in most areas of the Ozark-St. Francis and Ouachita National Forests. However, there may be some restrictions or regulations depending on the specific area and time of year, so it's important to check with the appropriate land management agency beforehand.

When dispersed camping in Arkansas, it's important to practice Leave No Trace principles, including packing out all trash, burying human waste at least 200 feet from water sources, and minimizing impact on the environment. It's also important to follow any fire restrictions or regulations in place to prevent wildfires.

Overall, dispersed camping in Arkansas can provide a unique and immersive outdoor experience, but it's important to be prepared, respectful of the land, and follow all regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

I headed out on my way to the MOORE expo in Springfield Missouri early in the morning. My first stop was to drop my Blue Heeler Bandit off at my parents which was actually an hour drive in the wrong direction so this added 2 hrs. to my first days drive time. I was excited as I always am for a new adventure and this was my first time to visit the state or Missouri and my first trip to the MOORE expo. I had an idea of where I was going to camp for the night because I had recently camped in this same area several times and it was the half way point for my drive. My campsite was a very private and beautiful location next to a peaceful stream.

Imagine a campsite nestled in a serene and lush forest, with the sound of a gentle stream providing a soothing background melody. As you walk down a path towards the stream, you are greeted with the sight of crystal clear water flowing over smooth rocks and fallen logs, creating small cascades and rapids.

The stream is lined with vibrant green foliage, including ferns, moss, and wildflowers. The sun peeks through the trees, casting dappled light on the water and the surrounding area, creating a peaceful and enchanting atmosphere.

As you sit by the stream, you may notice small fish darting through the water, or hear the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves in the breeze. You may dip your toes in the cool water, or relax on a nearby rock or log, taking in the beauty of the natural surroundings.

As night falls, you can listen to the soothing sounds of the stream as you drift off to sleep in your cozy tent, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated from spending time in this peaceful and stunning setting.

The Next Morning I was up early and on the road to MOORE. Driving through the Ozarks can be a breathtaking experience, with winding roads that follow the natural contours of the land, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and forests.

As you drive through the Ozarks, you may notice the changing landscape, with rocky outcroppings, deep canyons, and steep hillsides covered in lush greenery. The road may curve and wind, taking you through tunnels of trees and around hairpin turns that reveal breathtaking vistas.

In the fall, the Ozarks are particularly stunning, as the leaves of the trees turn brilliant shades of red, yellow, and orange, creating a picturesque scene that seems almost surreal.

Along the way, you may also encounter quaint towns and villages, with charming shops, restaurants, and local attractions. You may stop to explore historic sites, hike in the mountains, or simply take in the natural beauty of the area.

I finally made it to the MOORE expo in early afternoon and met up with my friends from ZeroBreeze. We set up camp and walked around the camp area meeting new people and checking out all the cool rigs that where there just in the camping area.

The next morning I climbed down from my rooftop tent, made breakfast and coffee and got ready for the day. We made our way into the MOORE expo and to the ZeroBreeze booth egger to show people the awesome product we had to offer and have lots of great conversations with everyone.

Finally it was time to head back towards home and find another breathtaking campsite along the way. I explored a few trails in the Ouachita National Forest and mapped a few spots for OnX Offroad taking my time. I found many beautiful spots along the way. I finally settled on a great spot right beside another very scenic stream. It was a great spot not much traffic at all, I only saw one other vehicle while I was there. I made a campfire and settled in for the night, The sounds of a stream can be incredibly soothing and peaceful, with water flowing over rocks and pebbles creating a gentle, rhythmic melody. The gurgling, bubbling, and splashing of the water can provide a calming background noise that is perfect for relaxation or meditation.
